Mixes and Playlists 5: Ambient Music that isn’t Terrible

This should go along well with the downbeat mixes previously posted as good slow music that doesn’t actually put you to sleep, but is even enough to paint/work to. Everything from Big’s live suicide note to Budden telling a story of revenge and molestation. For whatever reason, the most underused capacity for hip hop is using the spoken word to tell a linear story. Here are some of the best demonstrations of that potential:

Mixtapes and Playlists 2: Soul Music Pt. 1

Another in the series of iPod converted playlists, presented as youtube videos. This one is part of my soul playlist, so it’ll have to be broken up into smaller sections.
