Mixtapes and Playlists 2: Soul Music Pt. 1

Another in the series of iPod converted playlists, presented as youtube videos. This one is part of my soul playlist, so it’ll have to be broken up into smaller sections. A few tracks, like ‘Castles Made of Sand’, I consider to be soul music even if they’re not typically viewed that way. We’ll call it Soul Music Pt. 1:

Mixtapes and Playlists Pt. 1: Downbeat

Thought it’d be fun to start up a new series of blog posts laying out some of the mixtapes and playlists I’ve made to listen to while I work. Since I can’t host MP3s here, the next best thing (which includes some cool live footage) is to drop a youtube playlist. The first one is a bunch of tech/piano based downbeat music, something I find good for keeping me even while I paint. Enjoy.
